yodl is an onchain payment protocol that enables direct, permissionless, and non-custodial payments.
It abstracts away chains, tokens, and currencies, so that people can just pay. The sender uses what they have. The recipient receives what they want. The protocol takes care of everything in between.
yodl is built for interoperability. It brings together existing infrastructure including DEXs, bridges, oracles and ENS and applies it to the payments use case.
It works with any wallet, any token, and across chains. Whether you’re paying a friend, accepting payments for a shop, or building something new, yodl gives you the flexibility to do it your way.
yodl is built around four core principles:
Non-custodial
yodl never holds user funds. Payments move directly from sender to recipient, without intermediaries before, during, or after the transaction.
Decentralized
Payment routing is handled by smart contracts. There is no central party operating or approving transactions.
Permissionless
Anyone can use or build on yodl. There are no centralized accounts, approvals or gatekeepers.
Onchain
yodl does not touch fiat. All payments are onchain.
